GTW 705 (Flat Rock-Hamtramck Turn) eases northward past the tower on track rights over the NS Detroit District at 13:00 on 1/15/97. He is about to cross the old Union Belt (now the CSX Detroit Subdivision) and re-enter home rails on the GTW Shore Line Subdivision. He was waiting at Pleasent Street to conduct this move, and his train is long enough that his rear end is still back at Ecorse Junction. GTW trains can wait for hours and hours while traffic clears at both both Delray and Ecorse Junction.
