Of the collection of photographs found in the shoebox, a few have been produced by professional photographers and are mounted on paper board. Most are formal studio portraits from portrait houses in Ann Arbor. A few are portraits taken out in the field. Of those, this is our favorite.
Naturally, the best image in the collection has no notes. And only two of the formal portraits have any notations. We have to assume that they were gathered by the parents or in-laws of Our Gal, or by one of her aunts or uncles.
